Robiola Bosina

The Bosina is a special version of the traditional Robiola cheese. It is produced in the agricultural area of Piemonte, called the Langhe, where some of the best Italian cheeses and wines (like Barolo and Barbaresco) come from. The Bosina version is a two milk Robiola made using both cow’s milk and sheep's milk. The result is a lush soft-ripened cheese with different layers of flavors, from fresh cream, to grasses, hay and butter. Robiola belongs to the old regional dairy tradition. In particular, the Caseificio dell’Alta Langa is renowned for the luxurious reinterpretations of some of the most typical Piemontese classic cheeses. Organoleptic characteristics Aspect and consistency: soft, dense, and creamy with a bloomy rind Taste: tangy balanced by a rich creaminess. Serving suggestions Crisp, fruity white wines like Arneis or unoaked Chardonnay. Marmalade, fresh fruit, toasted nuts.
